Required Documents

- Grama Niladhari’s report
- Copy of National Identity Card
- If it is private land:
- Letter of consent for removing gravel from the land of owner
- Permit of the proposed land
- Mining plan prepared under the supervision of the GSMB
- If privately owned, Land Officer’s report
- BOQ (Bill of Quantities) report obtained from a government institution (such as Urban Council / Pradeshiya Sabha)
- Land rehabilitation plan
- Declaration of land rehabilitation certified by the Grama Niladhari
- If gravel mining has been carried out on other lands previously, related report on such activities

| After reviewing those reports, forward for the Divisional Secretary’s recommendation regarding the issuance of the license | 1 day |

| Submit the recommended application to the Geological Survey & Mines Bureau / If not recommending, inform the applicant accordingly | 1 day |
Renewal of Metal & Gravel Mining License

- Land rehabilitation plan
- Declaration of land rehabilitation certified by the Grama Niladhari

Excavation and Transport of Sand, Soil, Gravel, and Makki for Non-Commercial Purposes
